1. Design working pressures are calculated in accordance with API 15LE specifications. Local or

state codes may supersede these ratings.

 

2. Meets specifications of API 15LE, ASTM D2513, ASTM D3035, and PPI TR-4 material

designation code PE 3608.

 

3. Working pressures in excess of 73.4F are calculated using API 15LE, 5.1.4 Table 3-

Temperature Service Factors chart.

 

4. For multiphase fluids, wet natural gas, and liquid hydrocarbons use a 0.5 de-rating service

factor applied to the pressures given on the working pressure chart shown above. Service

pressure and de-rating factors for various fluids including crude oil and wet natural gas shall

be calculated in accordance with API 15LE Fluid Service Factors (API 15LE, 5.1.3 Table 2-

Fluid Service Factors).

 

 

**PE 4710/PE 3608 High Density Polyethylene material ABSOLUTELY should NOT be used in service temperatures in excess of 140F
